  If you used to visit us in our Vineyard Haven and Edgartown stores, we hope you’ll come find us these days in our Oak Bluffs store. We have a wonderful play yard for dogs and their people, plenty of parking, and we’re universally accessible. We’d love to see you and, of course, your dog—or ALL of your dogs!

Welcome to Good Dog Goods, Martha’s Vineyard’s special place for special dogs and their people.

Our store offers the most pet-friendly, owner-friendly, and earth-friendly products available. 

Martha’s Vineyard is a beautiful island off the coast of Massachusetts and is home to many dogs…all  kinds of dogs…and most of them sport a collar, leash, bandana, or accessory with the distinctive designs offered at Good Dog Goods.

We are in a restored Victorian cottage (top right photograph) and garden at 79 Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs.    We are universally accessible and renowned for our friendly welcomes.  ‘Wet noses’ are greeted with special warmth and we have a play yard for dogs and their people.  Our comfortable porches provide a wonderful resting place for everyone—shade and shelter and good company.

Good Dog Goods offers a breathtaking selection of clothing and accessories, plates and pottery, pillows and beds, as well as a unique gallery of canine art.  We are building a significant collection of items to honor what is, after all, the subject of some of the world’s great literature—the bond between a human and a dog. 

There is even a bakery, with a mouth-watering array of treats.   Many are kosher and organic, all are healthy, most are produced here on the Island or in New England by select family-owned bakeries, and they are tasty and safe for the human members of the family as well as the dog.

Shoppers will find toys and chews, grooming tools and supplies, and dog-friendly supplements.  All have met our stringent standards and are as safe for your family as they are for your family pet.   

Good Dog Goods is a special place in a special place.  If you can’t come see for yourself, can’t be on the next ferry, then visit us right here, right now … and plan to board the Island Home and visit us in person some day.
