Good Dog Goods was born out of my great love for dogs and the sport of dogs. Over the years, my Gordon Setters won beautiful items for their efforts in the show ring and at obedience and field trials. I LOVE these reminders of my dogs’ accomplishments.

I never saw these items anywhere else, though, and people were forever asking me where to find some of the beautiful things I was living with, so I have built a collection to offer the dog-loving (and cat-loving) public. Our store on Martha’s Vineyard, where we actually used to have three stores, offers a broad selection of all kinds of dog-friendly, people-friendly, and earth-friendly dog and cat goods.

I expanded my enthusiasms to include carefully selected health products. Everything has to be safe, healthy, made to the highest possible standards, and worth every penny we ask you to spend.

Every product at Good Dog Goods is celebratory and respectful of the bond between humans and animals. No caricatures allowed.

As we build this website, adding products constantly, our site will more closely resemble our store—stocked full of beautiful and worthy items for dogs, cats, their people, and our planet.

Twenty years ago, it wasn’t easy to find the kinds of things I’m talking about. All of us at Good Dog Goods know you have more choices these days and we appreciate your choosing us. We will do our best to serve you wisely and well.
