Born to chew—dogs simply must chew. . .
some of this urge to chew is purely recreational, but it’s also therapeutic. If you don’t want your dogs to chew on members of the family or their homework, furnish something for them to chew on. Their mental health, not to mention their jaws and teeth and gums, require it!
Given that dogs must chew and it’s up to us to provide them with things that we WANT them to chew, we found a company we can trust, here in New England, with their USDA-inspected plant, using certified human-grade ingredients*. What they DON’T use is pre-treated raw materials and they don’t add anything except heat—no preservatives or additives or chemicals.
Air-dried at very high temperatures, the chews are non-staining and odorless.
They don’t require special handling. They are best stored out of reach, in a cool, dry spot, wrapped in paper not plastic and never in air-tight containers. They can be frozen for longer storage.

Dried Beef Trachea
we offer this natural, safe, fully-digestible chew. High in chondroitin and often recommended by veterinarians for dogs who suffer from collapsing trachea, this chew is great for teeth and jaws and is guaranteed to keep your dog busy. It’s hollow, so it can be packed with peanut butter and it can be cut into smaller pieces for puppies and toy breeds. It is nutritious and safe—something no rawhide will ever be.
Trachea are non-staining and odorless. When the chewing is well under way, they can get soggy, at which point they can be stored in the refrigerator until they’ll be enjoyed next.

Instead of rawhide—or other bully sticks**. . .
Bully Sticks
these are serious chews . They are odorless, non-staining, and most dogs will walk right past your dinner to get to one. We recommend them for all size dogs, but some supervision is wise. You don’t want a young puppy or an especially vigorous chewer to swallow a chunk , so monitor their progress from time to time!
They don’t require special handling—they can be stored in the freezer for longer periods or just kept somewhere dry (and out of reach!).

*It’s frightening that many of the items dogs chew on are imported from countries where there are seemingly no standards of quality or content. Please be careful—those products can cause great harm and not only to the dog. Think of your toddler or yourself—whatever in the world is in their mouths or on your hands?!
**You do NOT want to know what’s on rawhide, even those rawhide products labeled “all natural”. Isn’t arsenic “natural”?
